Old Musical Express?

Once again Muse Picked up the award for being the ‘Best British Band’ at this year’s NME awards.

Is it really fair that the band should win the same award two years in a row?

Muse hasn’t added anything new to the British music scene since their 2009 studio album The Resistance and the band hasn’t even toured since late last year.

Do they really deserve to be awarded the Best British Band award for 2011 considering that they haven’t done anything this year.

Surely there are other bands out there that have worked hard this year that should get the recognition.

After all it is the ‘New Musical Express’ not the ‘Old Musical Express’!

Shouldn’t NME be giving out awards to new and upcoming artists rather than dishing them out to the same people every year.
