Lots of people complained when twitter last updated their iOS app.
The main reason being that the trending topics popped up at the top of the screen and overlapped tweets in the timeline.
With this new update Twitter have solved this problem by slightly changing this new feature.
The trending topics do still appear at the top of the timeline but they no longer randomly appear and overlap tweets when twitter refreshes itself.
This is only a subtle change but to be honest I think it's a massive improvement to this new feature.
It's good to see that such a large company such as Twitter listen to the feedback from their users and try and solve the problems as quick as they can.
If only this could be said about the social networking giant that is Facebook.
There have been numerous occasions when Facebook have updated their website with features that the users didn't want (such as the new profile layout and the photoviewer) while ignoring the requests that the users did want (Dislike button).
Hopefully one day Facebook will actually listen to it's users and include a new feature that they actually want rather than expecting them to like everything they throw at them.
